Unlike many in-ceiling speakers, Monitor Audio's Controlled Performance range of in-ceiling loudspeakers include an integral backbox, which guarantees a level of performance wherever you put them.
All models include a toggle switch, to either decrease or increase HF levels by 3dB, offering greater flexibility to suit their placement or the room they're used in.
Grilles throughout the Controlled Performance range are paintable in order for them to blend into their surroundings.

The smallest of the Controlled Performance models is the CT150, using a 5" MMP II bass/midrange driver and a 1" C-CAM HF unit. Power handling is 50 watts RMS.

The larger CT260 Controlled Performance model uses a 6" C-CAM bass/midrange driver and a 1" C-CAM HF unit. Power handling is 65 watts RMS.

The CT380 Controlled Performance model uses a 8" C-CAM RST bass/midrange driver and a 1" C-CAM HF unit. Power handling is 120 watts RMS.

The CT380 IDC is the largest in the Controlled Performance range, and is a genuine 3-way design, using the same 8" C-CAM RST bass driver as the CT380. The 4" C-CAM midrange driver, and a 1" C-CAM HF unit are part of a single module that can be pivoted to direct sound.
Power handling is 120 watts RMS.
