The Monitor Audio Vecta loudspeakers are a versatile design, ideal for wall mounting indoors or outdoors due to its sealed cabinet design. Optional wall or corner brackets have been specially designed for extremely simple installation, allowing the V-shaped rear of the Vecta to be mounted neatly in corners or up against ceilings. This adds to their versatility in making them perfect as home theatre effects speakers, or providing discrete sound around the home where in-wall or in-ceiling just isn't viable.
The Vecta speakers use dual 4" C-CAM mid/bass drivers placed either side of a horn loaded 1" C-CAM HF unit in an outwardly curved front baffle. This controls dispersion to avoid reflections from nearby walls and surfaces.
The shape of the Vecta allows not only normal wall mounting with the dedicated V-Mount bracket, but also corner mounting with the V-Corner bracket. This makes the Vecta a versatile speaker ideal for a number of domestic uses from discrete home audio to home theatre surround speakers. These cleverly designed brackets allow for a cableless connection to the Vecta speaker, making for a much neater looking installation.
The Monitor Audio Vecta uses a sealed ABS constructed cabinet design, along with a rustproof grille, so not only are the Vectas ideal for indoor use, they're great for outdoor use too, with the same advantages of being able to be mounted in corners or up against a soffits or eaves.
The sealed design not only keeps out water and dirt, but also prevents roaming families of arachnids from moving in and taking over.
