The YBA Genesis IA3A amplifier accepts digital as well as analogue inputs, decoded by the Cirrus Logic CS4398 chipset.
The clean looking brushed aluminium fascia sports only two controls - one for volume, and and for input selection. A central display shows volume level and chosen input.
The power button is concealed underneath the unit on the left, and rather than use buttons or nobs on the front, the IA3A uses toggle switches, providing a more tactile and responsive experience. The display shows volume level and selected input.
The amplifier sits on three feet - two of which are damped, and the third is solid, allowing vibrations to escape the unit.
The YBA Genesis IA3A amplifier provides two analogue RCA inputs plus on balanced XLR input. A coaxial digital input and a USB digital input allow digital sources to be connected, and the inclusion of Bluetooth provides wireless streaming directly from phones and tablets. Power to the digital section can be turned off when using only analogue sources. A coaxial digital output is also provided.
A pair of RCA pre-outputs facilitate the addition of an external power amplifier, or either single or dual subwoofers.
