The rear panel of the YBA Genesis PH1 phono stage provides two pairs of analogue RCA inputs to cater for moving magnet and moving coil cartridges.
A rear toggle switch selects between normal and high output Moving Coil cartridges.
Connection to the line level input of an amplifier can be made by either unbalanced RCA or balanced XLR.
The Genesis PH1 has been designed to compliment the sound quality of the Genesis IA3A integrated amplifier, but will sound at home in many high end hifi systems.
The main talking point of this phono pre-amplifier is that it runs off internal rechargeable batteries rather than directly from high voltage mains. The charge lasts for 8 hours, and the internal batteries can be recharged up to 10,000 times, and eventually replaced if needed.
