The AE509 is a modestly sized floorstanding loudspeaker consisting of a two-way driver array, incorporating dual 5" carbon fibre mid/bass drivers flanking a 25mm carbon fibre tweeter. Both drivers are made from stiff, lightweight carbon fibre.
The AE509 utilises a rear firing bass slot reflex port, extending bass response and improving efficiency, which works allows closer placement to walls than conventional circular ports.
The cabinet is available in high-gloss white or high-gloss black, and real wood veneer American walnut finishes.
