The UHP-3001 is compatible with video resolutions up to 8K, HDR formats including DolbyVision, HLG, and HDR10+, and files including MKV, TS, M2TS, and MP4. All relevant sound formats for movies are present, right up to DTS:X and Dolby Atmos formats. It will also store and play back audio resolutions of up to 768kHz PCM and DSD512 formats, allowing playlists to be created.

The Dorpo UHP-3001 is a media server allowing the storage and playback of movies and music, either through an audio system or a full Atmos based home theatre system. Music and movies can be stored on 3.5" HDD drives, and hot-swapped via the SATA bay at the back of the unit.

All stored and usable content can be browsed and selected via the native 4K FunplayUI interface, providing an UltraHD menu system for a clean, crisp presentation of your content.

UHP-3001 back panel connections

A 3.5" SATA 3.0 bay allows HDD drives of up to 26TB to be hot-swapped, giving you infinite storage and access to music or movies. 

Outputs include a 2.1a HDMI output, 2.0 and a 3.0 Type A USB inputs, an optical digital output, an RS232 control connection, and a pair of RCA analogue outputs, utilising the ultra-low noise AKM4432 DAC chip.​

For avid viewers of foreign cinema, there's comprehensive subtitle support, including full customisation of subtitles (placement, colour, size etc), as well as downloading of subtitles where needed.
