KEF's UniQ technology was introduced in 1988 and has since been perfected to cover a wide range of price points and models. This UniQ technology allows a wide and consistent dispersion, bringing its benefits to home theatre systems as well as audio systems.

KEF Q1 Meta loudspeakers
The Q1 Meta is a small two-way bass reflex design, using a 5.25" mid/bass driver and 1" HF unit making it ideal for smaller rooms.
Despite their small size, their bass performance is surprisingly taut, with UniQ openness and sweetness topping off the package.

KEF Q3 Meta loudspeakers
The Q3 Meta is essentially a larger version of the Q1, using the same 1" HF unit, but a larger 6.5" mid bass unit, increasing bass depth and punch, and improving midrange performance as well as increasing efficiency.

KEF Q8 Meta effects speakers
The Q8 Meta has been designed to compliment the Q Meta range to add upfiring Atmos effects to a Q Meta home theatre system, utilising the UniQ array from the Q1 Meta loudspeaker. The point-source nature of the UniQ driver helps produce accurate imaging with minimal phase issues.
