perlisten S7c centre speaker

the Signature S7c centre speaker provides a perfect match in every way for Perlisten's Signature range of loudspeakers

Perlisten at the little audio company,
S7c centre speaker,

The Perlisten S7c is perfectly matched to the S Series thanks to the DPC array (read more here), comprising of three 28mm domes in a vertical array. The centre dome is a Beryllium HF unit, covering frequencies above 4.4kHz. The output from this unit is controlled on the horizontal plane to reduce dispersion to focus on the listening position, reducing HF reflection from side walls.

The flanking 28mm carbon midrange domes cover between 1.25kHz and 4.4kHz, producing a more responsive midrange that is far less coloured by what would conventionally be a larger driver.

The DPC array sits between four 7" bass drivers covering from 1.25kHz downwards, acting in a sealed cabinet making them very room friendly. They're flexible enough to also be used as all five loudspeakers in a wall-mounted 5.1 surround system, for example, for those wanting a non in-wall, but discrete high performance system.

In a typical home theatre setup, the S7c will cover 80Hz-20kHz within only a very narrow +/-1.5dB deviation, with a typical in-room bass response down to 32Hz at -10dB, and produce a peak output of 117dB.

All of this tech helps the S7c achieve a THX Dominus rating, capable of effortlessly filling large rooms with cinema levels of sound quality.
