The M500 is the first of two upper level, fully manual audiophile turntables from Rekkord, using a floating sub-chassis to provide better isolation and reproduction.

The M500 uses an 8.3" ultra-low mass tone-arm, fitted with an Ortofon 2M Blue moving magnet cartridge. The heavyweight aluminium platter provides mass and speed stability, with a damping ring to minimise resonances and ringing. The plinth is made from MDF, covered with aluminium.

A hinged dust cover protects the deck and vinyl whilst playing.
