The R1s is a compact music system ideal for many rooms around the home.

First and foremost, its a radio, covering DAB, DAB+, and FM stations, as well as thousands of internet radio stations too. Bluetooth 5 accepts wireless streams from phones and tablets, or any Bluetooth enabled device. There's also integral streaming for Amazon Music and Deezer, as well as Spotify Connect. Finally, it can act as an alarm clock, with dual alarms and a sleep timer.

Control of the R1s is all carried out via its 'RotoDial', a volume control with push button capabilities to navigate menu systems.

Input, presets, alarm, play/pause, previous/next can all be accessed directly via buttons surrounding the RotoDial, as well as the dial itself acting as the main volume control.

An optional remote control enables control from a distance.

A 3.5mm jack accepts signals from any analogue sources, including a turntable (with an onboard phono stage).

A USB-C connection can be used to charge phones or play music from a suitable drive.

A 3.5mm headphone output allows private listening of any of the R3s sources.

An optional battery pack which attaches to the back panel allows the R1s to be used outdoors, either in the garden or on a picnic, for example.
