The compact Innuos STREAM 1 music streamer is, first and foremost, a high quality music streamer based around Innuos' own Sense control system.​

​

The STREAM 1 gives you access to high quality streaming services such as Deezer, TIDAL Connect, and Qobuz Connect, as well as Internet radio, Podcasts, as well as downloading high resolution music from HIGHRESAUDIO.​

​

The STREAM 1 becomes a music server by adding SSD storage which can be factory fitted (2TB or 4TB), or you can easily add your own via a compartment underneath the unit. This allows the storage of digital music, as well as direct downloads from HIGHRESAUDIO. This also converts the STREAM 1 into a NAS driver for any other music streamers on the same network, sharing music around the whole house.

While the STREAM 1 doesn't have an integral CD ripping drive, a USB optical drive can be plugged in and easily configured, then facilitating the ripping and storage of compact discs.

Being entirely digital, the STREAM 1 provides a USB-C, two USB-A 3.2 connections for USB drives and optical drives, a USB-A output to connect to a DAC, as well as dual 2.5Gb ethernet connections - one network input, and one output to daisy chain on to another product.

 

The STREAM 1 will connect to any USB equipped DAC or amplifier in the same way as the old ZEN Mini did and play music directly into a hi-fi system, or it can sit on your network and function as a high-end NAS drive for streaming products around your house. For direct connection to audio systems, a range of additional output boards are available to suit different systems - these can easily be swapped by the dealer at any point.

Phoenix USB reclocking board £1100

High-precision 3ppb 24MHz OCXO reclocking, with ultra-low noise LT3045 linear regulators for each independent voltage, and no switching regulators on the main USB chip. Provides a pristine 5v line for DAC USB connection.​​

Bespoke 'innuOS' editing software makes it extremely easy to change or add metadata and artwork via any web browser on a desktop PC or even a phone or tablet. Easy to use, versatile, and above all reliable.

The comprehensive SENSE app allows full music management and playback when plugged directly into an audio system.

​

The STREAM 1 is Roon compatible, allowing it to function as part of a Roon ready system, or to be used as a stand alone Roon source in any system.​

​

The metal casework of the STREAM 1 allows for much better heat dissipation than conventional plastic cased NAS drives, and along with its build quality, vibration and EMI treated solid state SSD storage, all provide silent, ultra low noise operation.​​

​

The STREAM 1's capabilities can be further enhanced by the addition of the LPS1 linear power supply, housed in the same casework as the STREAM 1, and can be located nearby or hidden (1m umbilical cable), or stacked. Purchasing this at the same time as the STREAM 1 brings a saving of £210.
