MICHELL turntables at the little audio company
Michell Gyro turntable in silver

The Michell Gyro turntable is one of the most iconic turntables in British history. Created in 1982, it has remained visually static for over 40 years, but has received numerous small improvements over the decades. Until now. The Gyro gets a complete redesign. Every aspect of the original Gyro design was scrutinised, and changes made to greatly improve its performance..

Visually, the main difference is the replacement of the acrylic chassis with a machined aluminium one, providing stability benefits as well as improved isolation as well.

The external power supply and motor housing are both made from solid billets of aluminium, and are fully independent to the turntable itself, removing any possibility of vibration reaching the turntable or the platter, with the belt being the only physical connection to it.

As with our AVID turntables, the little audio company is offering a generous trade-in for your old Rega turntable against a Michell turntable - a big incentive to 'trade up' and get more from your record collection.

Any Michell turntables purchased from the little audio company will attract a healthy part exchange value if traded in against other Michell decks, as would any tonearm upgrades.
