larsen loudspeakers

Based in Sweden, Larsen produce a range of hand made loudspeakers designed to be placed against the walls of your living room or listening space, working with them rather than against them. Combined with a small footprint, and you have an unobtrusive, very room friendly loudspeaker.

Their design principle is based around ortho-acoustics, pioneered by Stig Carlsson, with whom John Larsen worked with during the 80s and 90s until Carlsson's passing in 1997. John Larsen has continued the work of Carlsson, after starting his own company in 1995.

Angled drive units create a strong central image and large soundstage, and help to avoid the usual first reflection points associated with many conventional speakers, providing a more natural listening experience, regardless of the room they're installed in.
