hegel h95 amplifier

The Hegel H95 is a 60wpc amplifier whose output belies it's conservative rating. Along with its high damping factor, the H95 takes a firm grip on more demanding loudspeakers than similarly priced competition.

Spotify music streaming is native to the H95, so all you need is a phone or tablet with the Spotify app installed will be able to connect the the H95 and stream your favourite music easily. Likewise, AirPlay provides wireless streaming from Apple phones and tablets.

An ethernet input is provided to really open up the possibilities with this integrated amplifier. With a third party app such as mConnect, the H95 will stream any music collections on any PCs or hard drives on your network, as well as music streaming apps and internet radio.

DualAmp technology separates out the current gain stage and voltage gain stages that are usually combined in amplifiers, allowing specific circuitry to do a better job, reducing distortion and preserving dynamic range.

DualPower technology supplies the output stage with a different power feed to that of the input and voltage gain stages. Like DualAmp, this gives lower distortion whilst maintaining high dynamic range.

SoundEngine technology preserves the original between stages, where distortion or errors tend to creep in, giving the advantages of Class A and Class AB amplifiers without the negatives, reducing high frequency distortion.

SynchroDAC technology uses true balanced signal processing to preserve dynamic range and lower distortion, lowering jitter and conversion errors, allowing the most faithful digital to analogue conversion possible.

All of the above technology has been developed by Hegel Music Systems to allow their products to stand out from a crowded market place, and win numerous awards worldwide.

The Hegel H95 provides two analogue RCA inputs and a pre-amplifier output for adding an external power amplifier or a subwoofer or two.

As well as the ethernet connection for network connectivity, a digital USB input is provided allowing media servers such as Innuos and 432 EVO to stream digitally stored music directly to the H95 via USB. Three optical and one coaxial digital inputs allow connection of external digital sources such as CD players, or media streamers from the likes of Roku or Apple TV, as well as Sky boxes or Bluray players.
