wharfedale heritage loudspeakers

Since 1932, Wharfedale have been producing award winning hifi loudspeakers, originating from Gilbert Briggs' home in the valley of the river Wharfe, Ilkley, Yorkshire. After setting up a factory in Bradford a year later after increasing demand, his wife, Doris Briggs became the production line. This is probably the earliest true example of the hifi's 'cottage industry'.

the little audio company present the Heritage range of loudspeakers - modern, anniversary models built to commemorate Wharfedale's 85th anniversary in 2017. These models encapsulate the same vintage style of now classic models, updating them with modern technology.
